Two days ago, it would’ve been my grandmother’s birthday. 

I just want to let the world know what an incredible human being she was. She cared about everyone. Nothing was unimportant to her. When I sobbed because I lost my teddy bear, she didn’t just say, “We can buy you a new one”. She knew how important it was to me, and went to every store and restaurant, cleaned the entire house until we found it :) She was beautiful and independent. She rebelled and stood up for things she believed in, in a time when very few women did. I strive to be like her, make her proud. My dad says he sees a little of her in me, and I am flattered.  I’ve never met someone with quite a heart like she hers. When I feel discouraged, I think of her, and what she would say to me. Rest in Paradise Grammy, I love you and miss you more than anything.
